I know this question is getting old, but does anyone know for sure how much HP gain you should get with just the V2 installed on a base TL?

 

On paper, probably 3-5 HP .. how much of it will you notice .. probably 0. The feel is more psychological then actual, just because of the added sexy noise it provides.

I just installed mine and I don't feel any difference at all.... that is, until VTEC kicks in

IMO a CAI by itself will do you no good without an exhaust upgrade.

 

Throttle response and the noise factor. All I noticed...

Man, I have to dig up my dyno sheets but I installed my AEM CAI on the dyno for a true before and after (the benefit of having a friend with a shop/dyno). I know that I didn't get the 10 hp they advertised, but I want to say that it did give over 5 whp. I just wish I had the graphs to prove it. But as stated, the exhaust stuff will help. I know that I ended up gaining like 13 whp with intake and exhaust work. Then the ecu stepped in and torque managed it to a flatline. Argh.
