I used a modified mount when i first installed my CAI from AEM. A few weeks ago the bracket boke off and made a nice hole in the tube, i sent a few pics to AEM and they "bithced" at me for not using the correct mount. With a Throttle Body Spacer, using the stock one is a PITB. They still honored the warranty even though they did not have to. So i had to work hard to get the new cai in, so if it breaks again i wont forget to put the stock mount back in, i dont want to take the chance of them not replacing it if i did not have the stock mount in place.

This rubber mount is a generic item. I have seen them many times, in various sizes, at hardware stores (Ace), Lowes, and auto parts stores.

At hardware stores (Ace) and Lowes, just ask where the assorted hardware (nuts and bolts) bins/drawers are located. You will often times find these mounts there.
