Just remove the negative terminal of the battery for about 30 minutes to reset ECU completely!

I use to pull the neg. terminal and leave it overnight. The car would idle like shit and hunt the rpms for a while. Then i would take it for a few hard runs. Either that, or just heat cycle the car a few times and it will adjust to the CAI.

Naa, I wana say if anything it will just take longer to adjust itself... Where as doing the other way you force it to adjust right away as it knows nothing.
In your case it justs has to learn over time it will see the changes.

If the installer followed the instructions, there should be no need. One of the first things AEM says to do is "disconnect the battery" . . .
