aem intake

i just got my aem intake installed on my tls yesterday and its realy awsome i love it. My problem is that after driving a little it produces hot air and smells bad, is this a problem or is it just breaking in or something.

Also is it bad to push the car hard the day of and after the install??

Sounds like a sulfur build-up in your cats, I have the same issue.
