AEM dryflow filter cleaning intervals

I have an AEM V2 CAI with the dryflow filter on it & just am looking for input on cleaning interval from others who have one. I get that it depends on climate, location, driving conditions, etc., yadda, etc., but I'm wondering about the AEM specs. I put mine in last August, so its been about 14 months and I'd say around 18,000 miles. AEM claims on its website that the dryflows can do fine w/o cleaning for 50k to even 100k miles. Man that seems high. But I don't want to deal with the hassle of snaking that thing out of there if I don't have to. Can anyone verify - are those filer elements really just fine all the way up to 50,000 miles with no cleaning attention?

I do mine every oil change. You should do it at least every 20k to be safe. No need to snake out. You turn wheel, unclip fender liner, and pull off filter. No need to uninstall everything it’s super quick
