AEM CAI V1 Filter Whistle

So I just installed my AEM V1 CAI after having it for God knows how long... after installing I had my girl rev the engine a few times just so I could make sure everything was working smoothly.

However, when she stepped on the gas I heard an abnormal whistling sound coming from the filter. Now, I know every CAI filter has a slight quick whistle as it starts to suck when you step on the pedal... but this whistle is not light, and it is not quick. It is extremely loud (almost as loud as a BOV when shifting), and it is constant to about 3500-4000RPM. The sound almost resembles brakes squeaking when the pads start to go.

Anybody else experience this with AEM filters??
