If you wanna go later with the stock intake, can you do it? And how do you clean the aem air filter once installed?.
Will the dealer start talking bulshits about the warranty and stuff??

As long as you keep the original intake and not destroy it taking it out, you should have no problems reinstalling it. I know at least one of the small plastic fasteners was broken when removing the original intake in my car as well as in other threads. Review the bottom on the page for this link as far as the Warranty goes http://www.aempower.com/faq.asp?fid=23&sid=&tid=3.

I was wondering if anyone has done an experiment with moving the sensor to the intake pipe from the stock location? Will it affect MPG, drivability, or responsiveness?
I have the Comptech exhaust, AEM CAI, and I just ordered the P2R. So, I was thinking about moving the sensor while I installed the P2R parts.

I figured that I pretty much had to do it anyway, just because I can. Did you reset the computer (disconnect the battery), or just leave the electronics alone?
I was wondering if I should disconnect the battery when I install the P2R as well, but I don't think that will will effect the electonics.
Thanks.

Where to buy
To all those that are asking where to buy, try our sponsor:

I personally have the K&N, which comes as a convertible short ram/full CAI. I used the short ram version because it is the only mfr. that I know of who's filter tucks down and away from engine heat. Engine heat would negate any hp increase.
Whisper quiet until needed

Vibrant, nor anyone else is manufacturing a CAI for the '07/'08"s that I know of.
The '05's fit, but aren't CARB certified for the '07's/'08's. AEM is using the same part numbers as the '05's. If you wait for someone to actually make one, and certify it, it will probably be a long wait since this is the final year for the 3G.

If your meaning where the stock air box passes through the inner fender then the filter is drawing air from inside the engine compartment thus its not s CIA. You might have nice noise but a possible decrease in HP and gas mileage.

Are you saying that there is no CAI specifically for the 07/08?

I'm glad I looked at this cause I was just getting ready to order one.

I installed AEM CAI and p2r yesterday. I was getting a slight whistling sound at low rpms and wanted to know if this is normal. What about vibrations? Dos it take time for anything to settle before some of the sounds go away?

I haven't decided whether or not to put a CAI on my car. Before I bought my TL, I had an '02 Accord EX V6. I installed an AEM CAI myself. It was pretty easy, including removing the stock intake. I was worried about the whole hydrolock thing, so I purchased the AEM short ram. I loved the sound over 2000 RPM. When I decided to buy my TL, I sold my Accord to Carmax (They give you more than the dealer). Once I got the appraisal from Carmax, I was prepared t take my Accord home to remove the CAI, but they said not to bother. So I turned in the car and gave them the original intake.

whistling is normal, just think about simple physics, imo that was my favorite part of the AEM, the Fujita does it too, but not as noticable as the AEM,
the main difference between AEM and Fujita was the constant growl versus, what's the quote? "wolf getting butt fucked after 3k RPM?"

yeah i figured a slight whistle/hiss sound is normal. I only get it when I am at like 2 to 3k rpm and hit the throttle hard and it goes away once the air starts flowing in. The growl is amazing engine sounds like it has life.
Oh and pretty much all of the pinging my engine was experiancing is gone.

MY KBP IS BTR THN URS...
Would like to add that two people would make this job a dream, but watch out for the negative battery cable it will scratch the hell out of the tube and the vibration mount, I could not see how I was going to get that to fit with the P2R spacer in there two so I took one of the old mounts and used it instead actually fits like a champ. You take the side with the metal sleeve out and bolt it to the fender.
