Lightbulb AEM Accord V2 Cold Air Intake?

Just doing a little brainstorming since the 03 Accord shares a few of the same components with the TL.

...I was reviewing some pictures taken from VIR this past Oct and was looking closely at the intake on this Accord...can't tell if it's a V2 or not. But if so, then it should be able to fit on the J32.

..that's what I am seeing too. I also searched the intake on www.aempower.com and there is a V2 offered for the Accord J30A4.

The accord guys have managed to mount a comptech supercharger to the J30A4 and it works, so therefore an Accord V2 intake should be compatible on the TL J32.

...Has anyone tried this yet?

....If not go for it!

and while you're at it...

....Visit www.enjukuracing.com and look under the universal parts. Buy some gold heat wrap and apply to the V2 and you'll have one solid performing intake.

...haha you're right about that...probably in excess of $400.

A linear foot of that gold wrap is $50.

that would be awesome if this intake would fit the TL, but I have feeling that it wont because AEM would have listed it for the 3rd gen TL. They would sell more of these intakes instead of just the Accord crowd

if some one could get the demesions for this and where the mounting points are and another person get ones for the normal one, then we can compare them mathematically and see if it works

I am about 75/25 percent sure it will fit on the J32. Here's a picture...

If the 04+ Comptech Supercharger will fit on a J30 in an 03+ Accord....

Theoretically...

....An AEM V2 intake should fit on a J32 in an 04+ TL....

...it's what makes modifying the TL enjoyable...because over time you realize how many Accord parts are compatible!

....HELL! ^^^

The more I look at that V2 intake in the Accord engine bay it makes me want to order one...i'll cut it and find a 90 degree bend and it will shoot directly into the supercharger.

Thats my next project! YES!

The V2s are supose to add more power accross a wider range then the regular intake so I am sure everyone is trying to add more power with this.

AEM's website is claiming a 18.7 hp gain at 6500rpm with the V2 intake. I doubt it but you never know.

The part # is 24-6110C.

There's a chance we actually have more exhaust options than we think. If the Eshift procats fit on the Accord then perhaps an Accord AEM exhaust system will fit somehow... not sure but its worth trying.

i don't think the e-shifts deal with the eausht in the maing of pipping and mufflers.
