i deleted my rear mufflers and straight piped it, i hear a very little sound difference close to stock .. what can i do to make my exhaust sound louder?

 

Get an aftermarket exhaust

 

you still have a mid muffler and resonator under car... you could cut the mid muffler off also. IMO it will sound like crap, just save up for a aftermarket exhaust.

 

Why did you do that?

 

What are you trying to accomplish? Loud does not equal fast nor more power. If you were trying to nicely add a bit more tone, then go search and read the exhaust mod threads. There are gobs of them that clearly define what steps to take to modify the factory exhaust. If you are looking for performance, there are many more threads that clearly lay out those options as well. If you are just after making noise? Please sell the car and get something else that fits that profile better than the TL.

If you want really loud and obnoxious. .... run 3" straight pipe from the cat back without any mufflers. .. I ran my 04 Accord for a week like this waiting on the mufflers I ordered.

Exhaust mods: RV6 V3 PCDS, XLR8 V2 J-PIPE, 3" stainless exhaust with dual exit also 3"

I have stock pre cats and j pipe with a custom 2.5" straight piped cat back with an aftermarket resonator. Sounds amazing. No rasp at all. Just deep tone.
