No I believe that's the fastest for a TL, congrats
You must have some experience driving at the track before? Damn the TL for its LSD..I wish I had LSD.

Environmental conitions (temp, humidity, atlitude, etc) and track conditions.
To get the best times you have to have both working in your favor.
The driver is important too. One day you'll do everything excatly right and another day you can't do anything right.
Street is too unpredictable to determine why one car wins over another.

thanx, I might go to the track this friday, I think I can get a little lower, the 13.6 pass was done as soon as I got there with no time to cool down and the nos pass was my first and only time ever spraying, (I wired the NOS switch up at the track)

BTW...outside note...but I will be breaking my full set of 4 autocross slicks/tires down off the rims (Kumho V-710) in about a week and selling them seperately....so I will have four slicks for sale soon! I know lots of people have been asking for just two of the tires to use just for this purpose....drags! Figured they will sell faster that way!

Note....have watched a vid or two here.....and not sure you guys are running on a tire or not...but if you dont have slicks....DO NOT BURN YOUR TIRES OFF AT THE STARTING LINE PRIOR TO STAGING. Just turn them over enough to knock the rocks off and head to stage. Overheating a street tire prior to drag racing will just lead to more wheel spin in most cases.

Would you mind taking my car to the track so I would feel better? Maybe give me some lessons on how to launch too?

i'd be happy to break into the 13's. what rpm are you launching at? did you upgrade your engine mounts? experience any wheel hop? I'm hoping to go back to the track one last time before they close up for the winter.

I know track conditions have a lot to do with it so it's difficult to compare. As a point of reference, I went with my friend who has a 2007 550i and my car was a just a little quicker. I can't remember but I think his best time was high 14's, maybe 14.8x or so. I think his best 60' was 2.4x.
We could both do a lot better job launching but even with a 2.0 or 2.1, I wonder how much the ET and trap speed would increase by?
Just so you have another point of reference, I went up against a stock '09 WRX and it went 13.623 @ 100.33 MPH. 60' was 1.954.

I know those definitely don't help. I wanted to see what the car would do as I normally drive it. I basically left everything in the car, including the two baby seats!
I wonder how big of a difference it would be to go from 19" to 18". I don't want a 17" DD and I'm not about to buy a dedicated wheel just for the one or two times I go to the 1/4 mile track.
How much weight would i need to drop to make a noticable difference?
