3.2 with spacer or 3.7 manifold swap

I'm sorry if I'm bringing up a past thread please re adjust my thread if I am. But I didn't see any info on which one grants me better performance? And another quick question what parts do I need from a 3.7 and can I use the spacer with the 3.7? Sorry if this a dumb question I'm fairly new to the TL life😧

Wasn't a smart ass answer, just smart.
You can use either. 3.2, 3.7. You can use a spacer on either.

I'm not going to answer your question any more in fear of being called a smartass. You can also search for this information as intake manifold compatibility configurations are one of the most popular subjects on the site with hundreds of thousands of posts by this time. You really shouldn't have polluted the forum by asking such a popular question as it doesn't stand well for indicating your future input to the community.

Now THAT is a smartass answer. Here's another.
The best option is 3.7 & custom sized spacer, both ported, matched to your runners, matched to your head, with 0.1mm overbore on each receiving port, and polished all the way through with a widened throttle body or maxbored SHAWD TB with a 3.5-4" horn leading to a 4" intake charge pipe, leading to a 5" expansion chamber leading to a 6" intake filter of more than 180 Sq. Inch of surface area.
Also, if you're going to apologize for asking a dumb question, that you know isn't smart, the person that answers isn't a smartass, just smarter than your dumb question. I wouldn't go insulting people with 80,000 posts and 20,000 likes on this site, that takes years to accumulate and decades of applicable knowledge.

Also, the guy you just called a smartass is the moderator of the forum. Luckily moderators don't get overly emotional on these forums and are rational people, but it's good to have a good relationship with them and not start out on the wrong foot. That's a quick exit.

it's not necessarily locked into this car...

this knowledge goes back to the hot rodding days.

more air = more power.
you want to feed the engine with as much air as possible.
you do that by adding a spacer to the largest intake manifold you can get. more volumetric area to densely pack air

Is your TL off jacks yet? lmk when you ready for pho...…..

BTW all serious, all mod will need a tune to make a best out of it. without a proper tune your car can run funny and I bet justonjack knew exactly what I am talking about.

You mentioned everything but the mdx spacer and I don't drive a civic so that doesn't merit anything either.

I have the 3.7 manifold and MDX spacer on my 07 Base and had to trim a little bit of the under hood bracing/ skeleton a bit to clear. Also consider if you are on good stock motor mounts you could be fine now but when they wear out and break which they will the motor will flex more and possibly hit.

Warning for the spacer, caused a vacuum leak for myself and many others. And yes, installed properly.

What type of gasket were you using and has the same issues come up for the p2r spacers?
