Brembo Rear calipers
I have been doing some reaserch as to weather or not we can get Brembo calipers in the rear. Brembo said to go throug Mitsubishi and order the EVO's Rear caliper. They (Brembo) could not specifi as to the compatibility saying that it is an exclusive part for Mitsubishi. Dose anyone know if this is a even swop?

Brembo said that our front calipers are identical to the ones used in the EVO and G35. The only difference is that the TL did not go with the rear Brembo Calipers. I can get a great deal on used rear Brembo EVO calipers, however; I don’t want to jump on them to find that it will require a lot of modifications. Any ideas, rumors, or has anyone tried it yet?

Are the rotors the same diameter and thickness? The rear is not vented, I'm sure it could be true but I wouldn't think Brembo would make a high performance brake setup for a non-vented rotor

BremboG: I merged your two threads together since they are both on the same topic.

I think the rear brakes look cheap compared to the front Brembo's. I wouldn't spend more than a few hundred making them look better. The TL braking system (Brembo) is awesome the way it is. They are the best brakes I've ever had on a 4door sedan.

Meaning the pressure within the brakelines remains the same, however, the brake pad to rotor increases (assuming bigger brake pistons). This can cause the rears to lock-up early and not allow the fronts to do their job.
I think im just going to paint the rear calipers black and call it a day.

They were wrong, the G35 calipers are MUCH smaller than ours. Only problem I forsee is matching the caliper with the caliper bracket, which may either need a new one entirely. I swapped G35 brakes into my Altima, then upgraded the front ones to 13" AP Racing's because of the lack of braking from the G35 ones.
