Hello! I have a quote from acura dealership to replace pad/rotors for $750. Just called autozone and they have them in stock. Gold Ceramic for $40.99 and Premium for $54.99. Which ones do I need? The discs are $54.99. thanks

Get the CMax pads from autozone, they are the top of the line model.
As for rotors... dont get the cheap ones from autozone. I am assuming you have the stock brembo rotors. Do not replace them with cheap stuff. If anything buy blank ones from anyone of the vendors on this forum if you arent trying to spend much. And are you sure that your rotors need to be replaced?

thanks for the feedback. if front disk + rotors then yes they are to be replaced. Question: I was given the option from autozone of gold ceramic $40.99 or premium $59.99. Which ones would CMax be?

If you are getting a shake WHEN APPLYING the brakes at high speeds or if you have a big lip on the outer edge/face of the rotor then you need new ones. Otherwise you really don't need to replace them or resurface them.

does your steering wheel shake when you apply the brakes at highway speeds? With the brakes cooled down, feel the edge of the rotor, do you feel a small lip on the edge or a fairly large one?

I am pretty sure they are the $59.99 ones you mentioned. I don't know if your Autozone is pushing you to buy other products but the product I am talking about is this one http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par..._116848_16108_
Tell the store you want the same kind of brake pads at the rears too if you plan on buying these. I highly recommend these brake pads for your information.

I would get them turned neways tho because the pads side is often at an angle meaning you might have noise or other troubles later on. I used to replace disk and pads at the same time because disks weren't worth much on my other car making new ones cheaper than the time to restore them.
Not quite sure its the case on the TL though.
