07 base exhaust help

New owner, of an 07 base model, completely new to the whole tl scene so don’t bash me lol, but its hard to find what exactly to put on for a nice exhaust sound, (NO MUFFLER DELETES) and something that will pass emissions, keep in mind again im gonna seem dumb to you experts so just enlighten me on what i would need to do and parts wise, thanks!

Cheapest? "Stage 3"mod.
Dynomax #24235 resonator in place of stock resonator, and mid-muffler delete. Passes emissions, nothing illegal, no rasp, no drone and under $150 all said and done. Add a bit more oomph from 2000 to 3500 rpm, after that the engine does most of the whining.
Also don't delete the other mufflers, it's going to sound stupid.

Satisfies the majority of people, as far as I know.

If you want a bit more grumble, add j-pipe AND/OR replace stock mufflers with magnaflow #11365.

+1 for stage 3 modification..
I've been contemplating adding an aftermarket CAI....wondering if anyone has done this with only a stage 3 mod.....an difference in sound output?

I did 2.5” piping in place of the mid muffler. I also replaced the resonator with the dynamo max and t gives it a nice sound especially with a cold start. I’m going to also do a intake resonator delete soon and hopefully that will give me a better sound and response time.
