I think it will still come out. Even when you all sell your cars, the younger crowd is going to be able to pick these 3rdgen TL's up even cheaper so more of them will find their way to these forums and companies and increase the demand. Our aftermarkert backing isnt the same as a BMW, Nissan/Infinity, Lexus/Toyota. These companies are on both sides of the planet working where we (3rdGenTL's) are mainly on oneside....kinda like a foster slash step child.lol.

I would be interested in the SP2 for my 07' Type-S. I had the Evo2 on my 03' V6 Accord and I loved it but I feel it wouldn't look as good on the TL. Probably not possible but I would love something that resembles the stock Type-S quad exhaust (probably not gonna happen though)

seems like this thread has slowly died....I would love to get the SP2 if it wouldn't sound like a cop magnet, hopefully like the G35's sound. Around $1000 more or less would be an ideal price. From this thread looks like theres more EVO2 than SP2's, Why not make both of them but sell/make more or less of the other depending on the demand ?

I followed up with Chris and here is what he replied back to me just today:
I'm pushing to get the prototype started soon. Depending on how busy we are, i'm trying to get it started within the next month or so.

They are both very good brands but I am biased towards GReddy/Trust products. I've had very good experience with them before on many different previous cars I've had. HKS is nice, I think they can be a little more "Race" oriented, can tend to be louder and aggresive. Trust/GReddy tends to be a little more "Street" friendly. I don't know, I'm sure many beg to differ but that's just my opinion.

okay...i'm just TESTING the waters...but anyone interested in buying my setup? Greddy EVO exhaust, 2.5 inch piping from the 3rd cat, all the way back., no resonators...i'm thinking about going to a new exhaust setup. the left tip has a slight bend to it...if you didn't notice it right away...yeah...it's slight

someone asked so i figured i tell them, its semi crushed bent...there's not a lot of bends in the exhaust so it's pretty straight. i'm just testing the waters...i have no diea how much i wanna sell it for. i'm planning on going with APEXi GT Spec

I had the Greddy SP2 on a 300ZX I used to own. It was 1 of the sweetest sounding exhausts I had ever heard. I swear I would mostly drive with radio off just to hear the exhaust. It wasn't very loud at idle and even cruising, but when you dropped the hammer, it was a symphony.
Greddy - you make this exhaust happen for the TL, with a nice tip choice (either the large opening or the quad look like the TL-S) and I would be banging down your door to order it - guaranteed.....

Now that comptech is back, Im no longer looking froward to this......its a shame they didnt jump on this quicker. I mean the TL was the number one luxury car sold in the US, with such a huge base of younger drivers I would have figured they would have done something a lot quicker. Funny how he says it takes so long. It took comptech like what? a month or two and they had there system done ready to sell.
