im new to the acura world but love it so far!!!! anyways i have a 2004 Acura TL 6 speed manual .... i was looking the car over the other night and this baby have THREE factory mufflers.. that has got to be a huge restrication!!! can i take any of these off with out the check engine light coming on or making it run bad??? i dont want it all loud either, a little more sound is ok just not too ,uch!!!

They're called catalytic converters, but yes, they can be removed. Search and you'll find out what you need.

You can delete mufflers, resonators and cats. I stick with just deleting cats. It's expensive but in the end you'll get a better result. Look up the stage mods to delete mufflers and resonators.

I took off just the rear 2 mufflers, barely noticeable at idle, gets a little loud when you floor it but just cruising you don't even notice it especially with the stereo on. I'm gonna switch to a smaller resonator next cause I like loud lol.

i see the two cats coming off the heads but im talking about the three mufflers under the car... if i delete the cats coming from the heads wont the check engine light come on? and it run rich?

No, the RV6 PCDs come with defoulers so you will not get a CEL.

Be like me rv6 pcds rv6 jpipe to bigger piping to NO mufflers to quad tips= no restriction

i deleted the mid muffler. and it sounds perfect not ricey at all. reminds me of a 350 or g35.

you can remove your pre cats, j pipe, and whole catback too. open header is the way to go
