I thought I read most of the exhaust parts between the two are interchangeable and thought the 3rd cat was one of the components. Anyone have additional insight or done the swap?

I checked part numbers from heel toe and they are different.

you need to ask for specs from the vendors...such as ID, bolt circle diameter, length...etc. then you can determine if they are interchangeable. or you can also ask the vendor.

you could also get on a honda forum and ask what their specs are if the vendor doesn't have them, but he should

I can confirm this for you.

I had a 2005 V6 6MT Accord coupe which was totaled by a deer. I purchased the car back from insurance and parted it out, however I kept the PCDs and Jpipe and swapped them over to my 2007 TL-S 6MT.

So yes, you can swap these out and they are interchangeable. I am using RV6, so if they are from a different company, might want to verify first, but im almost positive they will fit regardless.

Also recommend getting new gaskets if you are using an old set.

04-08 TL and 03-07 Accord V6 uses the same rear cats and the Pre-cats are also the same.
