The drone is not bad IMO, it's not any louder than the Comptech ones and when the drone comes in it's only at 2-2.8K RPM. And even at those RPM range, if you're crusing at a maintained speed, there is no drone.

Acurazine members voted for the larger piping with a gain of 8-10 whp. There is a slight drone under 3k rpm, but members voted and you mostly said you wanted the horsepower and wouldn’t mind the slightly louder exhaust note. The other option of smaller piping would have decreased the drone, but also decreased whp by 5. If this doesn’t sound like what you wanted, speak now, or forever hold your peace!


Video Disclaimer: The video of the dyno is the only sound/video file we have at the moment. It was done in 4th gear at Wide Open Throttle. Take with a sony digicam, so sorry for the poor quality. Listen to it with good speakers, otherwise it will sound horrible.

40 pre-sales is pretty damn good in my eyes considering 55 were signed-up on the petition.

If we can get some more that would be awesome, but given the estimated cost $950 after the groupbuy more people will buy this than comptech in the future becuase of the savings. Greddy just positioned themselves beautifully!

And..this way we only spend $300 now, then have time to save up the balance until the product arrives..and we still pay 30% less than if we waited. The way I see it, if you have made up your mind on this as a mod, then it is a no brainer..get it now...

Well considering only one person had this on their car noone can say for sure.......but the dyno results give greddy the edge.

If you are unsure what you want to do, you better make up your mind in the next 2 days since the price will go up $300 on Saturday.

To me hands down Greddy, comptech will start selling theirs again at $1050 (I think) so if you put your $300 down here you will save close to $500 after shipping and taxes...........

Your decision, but as you can see 40 people have made the smart decision so far!

Well, I am biased because I've owned 4 different GReddy systems and only 1 Comptech system and on one of the 4 systems was to replace a Comptech one because the Comptech was corroding and I definitely had a significant gain from the Greddy vs. the Comptech. It was for my 95 Integ. The gains on the GREddy was significantly higher than the Comptech.

+1 and when else are you going to be able to get an Exhaust system on a 2 payment system without paying any interest on a credit card. And lastly, who knows what's going EXACTLY happen with Comptech, (sorry all you guys with the Comptech SC) even if the same people take the company off the previous owner's hands, there's no guarantee the business will be ran like before with some of their products being very reliable. GReddy's been here and will be always here, for the sake of Warranty and tech inquires. Piece of mind that you're using a product with impeccable quality and reliability and the fact that you're getting a system for $388.50 cheaper than Comptech (that's not even including TAX or Shipping). Just some food for thought. :toocool:

How will Greddy Performance validate that the first lot of 50 units will meet or exceed specification with no fitment and aligment issues, correct length, including exhaust tips, etc...?

Will the first unit be used as a "First Article" to verify that the process and equipment was set-up correctly before proceeding to build the batch of 50?

I'll be honest gents(and TL bunnies), guy next door spent small fortune on his stereo system and he downloaded the video clip of TL Greddy exhaust.....all i can say is WOW!! The sound damn near crippled me (in a good way). The quality of the exhaust was far superior than the exhaust package i purchased while back for my 300z.
