How often do you leave your navi on? I hardly ever keep mine on because I am afraid of burn in on the screen. I had the 99TL with navi and the clock was on the screen. When you turned it off you could see the burn in on the screen where the clock was. I keep mine on maybe 10% of the time.

1/3 of time, using Navi; 1/3, using Audio system; other time, OFF.

On all the time. 24/7. Even when I know where I'm going, I program it just so I can see that thick blue line that matches the interior lighting so well.

Navi screen

The Navi screen is an LCD display.

Those don't (can't, actually) burn in like a CRT tube or plasma display so don't worry about it. The worst that can happen is that the backlight may wear out, but it will take a long time for that to happen.

The 99 display must have been something other than an LCD.
