I'm transplanting my basslink from my old car into my new TL. I'm looking for a good comprehensive instruction set on wiring the basslink into the TL.

I got 2 real questions:

1st) Whats the easiest way to run power from the battery to the trunk? My last car was easy, it just wasn't obvious until it was pointed out. I'm hoping the TL is the same way.

2nd) I understand you can just tap the speaker wire going into the stock sub. I'm an idiot when it comes to stereo stuff. Can someone tell me exactly what bits and pieces I need in order make this happen. Is it as simple as getting some push in wire taps and having at it?

Thanks in advance for answering questions I'm sure have been asked before, I just can't find the answers to them.

 

1) find the follow thru in the fire wall to run power through. You just have to look for it. Then run wire through door jams in to trunk.

2) you will need to pick up a LOC to tap into the stock sub wires.

Ok... one last question and I think I'm set. How do you work the trunk lid carpet? I see where everything slides apart, but I'm not sure how to work the flat plastic buttons that hold the carpet. Any suggestions?

I just don't want to jack my 2 day old car up.
