When I picked up my car on nov 2 04, the guy didn't tell me anything on how to set up xm radio and everything..and now after a couple weeks (nov 26)..I might be interested..is it still possible to get the free trial if i go back to the dealership and ask for it or is it too late?

 

The dealer should have set it up for you before you picked up the car. The 3 month trial is part of what you paid for the car. It's their job to handle it during dealer prep.

 

Yes, you could actually perform the setup yourself...it takes about 5-15 minutes...just take the xm pamphlet and dial the number and they will guide you on the installation...i did mine by myself...

 

Yes it is still possible to get the remainder of your 90 day free trial, which is dated from the delivery date of the car. Just stop by the dealer and they can set it up for you easily.

 

Should have been part of the prep and explained to you when you got your ride. Dealer sends the VIN# to XM and they will verify with you through snail mail when your trial period expires as well as a welcome to the world of XM and subscription rates.
