I got the $60/year promotion deal about a month ago. Are they still offering it if you ask? My brother in law's trial period ends next week on his Yukon and he is interested at that price. Any recent sign ups?

My brother in law called XM this morning and got the $60 deal so I guess the answer is YES.

 

technically.. he shouldn't have been able to. that deal ended quite a while ago.

 

Like any service-oriented product, there is always some haggle room on the price. I have received many discounts from other such service companies by asking for a lower price. It is sometimes even easier if you know of a promotion that has just ended or that a competitor is offering. In this case, the person simply asked if he could get the same price as the promotion that just ended, and he got it. It just goes to show that it never hurts to ask.
