XM Radio

I got a call this morning from XM Radio. The short version is that for $60 I have re-uped for the service I let lapse. I think that is pretty good for 1 year's service?

Looks like they are trying to drum up some business. It wouldn't hurt to call if you want to take advantage of this offer. Tell them you are from the Acura-TL.com forum and will spread the word if they do business with you.

Let's leave this here in 3G for a day or two.

$60 really isn't a bad price at all... but they've never tried too hard to keep my business. I received only one call (at a bad time too, so I told them to call me back) and they never called back to tell me what they called about.

Thanks Pices312, Ron A. I was bummed when I missed the Aug 31 deadline to get a year for $60. I called XM tonight and talked to Mary. I asked her if I coul get it for $60, and she said I definitely qualified. Now I'm a happy XMer.

i JUST called, and got the deal too! W00t! They are open until 2am ET, so theres plenty of time. I asked who was elegable, and he said you were supposed to get something through the mail, but they'll honor it for anyone who can give them enough details about it.

Thanks for the post!! I too was disappointed that I missed the deal last month. Now I'm happy.

oh man, not fair... i just called to see if i can get the $60/year deal and the rep said that since I am already an existing customer, he is not able to extend teh offer to me. Basically this promotion is offered to people who've let their subscriptions expire. I think this is ridiculous... treat potential customers nicely and let the current ones suffer. I should just cancel my subscription and see how they will treat me...

Ok called and talked to a rep that worked there.. (she was pretty annoying and could barely speak any english).. they said I need to call when my "free trial" is over and then they would TRY to give me the same promotion. So I doubt I will get it for $60 a month in about 2 and a half months. We will see.
