XM button doesnt work after new battery

I have a 05 TL and I have an isimple ishd631 hooked up. When I recently got a new car battery the XM button on the car no longer works. Every other button works. I've tried things like unplugging the radio and backup fuse for hours but that didnt work. I even went to best buy and they unhooked the unit and re-hooked it up but it still doesnt work. Ive did a search and most people said to unplug the unit and then replug it up but that didnt work. Any other ideas?

Did you try to take out the Isimple and see if it works without it being hooked up?

Best Buy tech removed the isimple and said it was working correctly. I saw the green light on the device.

The only reason I ask is that most ISimple products I've seen state that they will not work with factory installed Navigation/Satellite radio.

I think I may need a new radio. Once I play a cd the radio just cuts off (no sound, becomes unresponsive etc). I have to restart the car to have the radio cut back on but if I try to play a cd again then it cuts off (rinse and repeat). For now I can only listen to AM/FM radio.
