Hey guys. I let my mom borrow the car and she said she accidently pressed something, and now my XM button doesn't work. Nothing happens when I press it. I use it for m isimple. My navi is hacked, so I went into the diag menu and the navi status, and everything is green except for 'XM'

What do I need to do?

Anyway, I unplugged my isimple, and plugged it back in after 5 mins, and it worked again. I have no idea why that happened.

 

Same thing happened me. I have USA Spec and mine did the same thing. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and everything worked again.

 

I disconnected my battery to install new HID bulbs and this happened to me. I have the USA Spec one also. I was so worried I mucked it up. I will try the unplug option tonight when I work on my car this evening. Thanks for the posts! You guys are truly helpful for us noobs!

 

To those who fixed this: Did you unplug from the back of the radio or just the plug going into the iSimple module?

This just happened to me as well when my battery died Sunday.

 

I unplugged it from the iSimple module.

 

I just unplugged the USA Spec and replugged and it works fine! So that seems to be the general fix. Whew!
