Hi all, I'm looking for some info about the XM(?) antenna fitted to the newer TL's.

Specifically I'm wondering if it's possible to buy just the housing/antenna, and also how it attaches to the car's roof.

My car lives under a car cover and I'm looking into building a coiled FM/AM antenna so I don't have to keep unscrewing the regular style antenna on the roof. I don't like the large shark fin style ones, but the Acura one looks like it's just the right size.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

 

Welcome to the forums.

The antenna attaches to the roof with one nut, accessible from the inside after the headliner is removed. I can scan the page from the service manual if you need it.
