My XM currently only works inside the city limits. Apparently, XM has 2 different mechanisms for receiving signals, the satellite and terrestrial repeaters inside major cities. I can pick up the repeaters but not the satellite receiver.

I'd like to get the XM satellite receiver back up and running again, but I have no desire to spend very much money on this. I have a 2005 TL with Nav that I am going to sell in 12 months. Anybody have some good recommendations on how to inexpensively diagnose where my problem lies and fix it?
