XM 5.1 Surround

Guys, i heard a XM commercial for 5.1 surround. Well the commercial says HD sound which is the same. Now, will our TL be able to decode the 5.1 mix ?

I can't find the the old thread, but if I remember correctly, most likely not. HD radio requires a newer receiver so you will to look for aftermarket solutions.

Here are a couple HD Radio threads for you:

I put my Roady2 XM box from my truck in the TL to test it.
Sounds way better than the CD player and much more volume too!
My only prob is the fm stations in my area dont work well with the xm wireless so I use the cassette adapter which makes a little noise of its own- oh well

01tl4tl, you should look into an aux-in interface by PIE or Blitzsafe. You will get better quality sound without the cassette noise. They are both outlined here: 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ
