Getting ready to start my nav/video conversion. I already got the following items..

PX AMG aka Isimple
Dom's nav unit

Had a few questions...any help is appreciated..

1. The media player I am planning on using is the Iomega Screenplay. http://www.amazon.com/Iomega-ScreenP.../dp/B0013IO28E


It has a 500gb hard drive. I was thinking to mount it in the glove compartment, and use the cigarette lighter to power?? I believe i can find a car adapter to power it. Any advice?

2. Since dom's unit allows for 2 video inputs, and I wasnt planning on installing a reverse camera, i was wondering if i could use an apple video cable as the second video input and be able to connect a itouch/ipod video. In that case, could I connect a third audio source to the isimple (media player, itouch, ipod) or could i somehow use the ipod cable that comes with the isimple with the itouch?

Basically, is it possible to use a media player + itouch/ipod video/iphone +ipod with the isimple?

 

Research the Isimple. google it. acurazine it.
you'll be able to find out how many inputs and out puts it has.
I went a different route and have a pie x3. which has 3 aux ports.
you need to do your homework, sir.

also about the media player, you wont know until you try it out. there are a lot of media players out there, as i showed you mine yesterday. they all do the same, play movies.
again, as I said most members on here used something called a mediagate.
