Have no clue where my manual is so please don't ask me to RTFM. I thought it was up where the garage door opener buttons are, like in cars with Onstar, but I don't see it up there. People can't seem to hear me too well with the HFL so I assume I'm screaming in the wrong direction inside the car.

 

it is up there, you just cant see it, its behind the "vents" by the garage door opener

 

You have two microphones on left & right sides of the homelink buttons. Make sure your windows are up, sunroof closed, and A/C fan on low speed for better results. It could be your phone not the HFL.
