recently purchased some vleds led strips for footwell lighting, but i want to cut the strip down a bit and still be able to use the cut off strip, they say on their site that there are cut marks every 2 inches, but because the strip is "blacked out" i cant see any cut marks.

 

Measure every two inches and cut?

 

from what ive seen online you cant just cut every 2 inches because you have to cut between the independent circuits or one of the remaining sides may not function properly

 

anybody with some experience with these strips? i really want the section i cut off to still be fully functional
