When using HFL
When using HFL
A lot of times, when I say a phone number, the HFL tacks on a 0 infront of the number. Anyone else have this problem? I could say , 2125557870 and it will show on the MID and repeat back to me 02125557880 the frequency of this has decreased but its still annoying when the first number is no where near close to sounding like a 0
Hmm...You might also want to mention which phone you're using...well since I know (Motorola V80, lucky bastard), it might be something that has to do with speed dial from the phone perhaps? Could you be talking to quiet?

on a side note, the accord is finally up for sale and one of my friends wants it.

BTW, mobilezen, this has nothing to do with the type of phone being used - this is purely on the Acura TL HFL Voice Recognition side of things.
I have noticed when dialing using 10 digits like you must in most areas now, just put a 1 in front of the number. Your cell phone company should not have a problem with charging you long distance and it should still go through.
I find that this doesn't happen if I say "send" and immediately follow with the telephone number, then wait for the prompt "do you want to dial xxx" and then tap the button and say "dial". It also saves a step or two. As many have mentioned before I find that it works better if I say the number at a normal pace instead of slowly.
