When trading in your TL do you clear the HFL and Navi?

What do you do with the XM radio subscription? I signed up for the 1year $60 plan. Can I transfer the subscription to another XM player?

 

You should clear the HFL and NAVI info as it contains personal info (yours and others) such as phone numbers and addresses (provided you added personal addresses to the NAVI).

As for XM, you should be able to transfer the remaining time on the account to another XM unit. Call XM and inquire. Suspect you will need the XM radio code for the NEW XM unit though.

 

Too bad the car I might be getting wont have XM though. Only Sirius.

 

I traded my 04 non navi to an 05 navi and they transfered my XM in a matter of seconds. It was very easy.

 

Sirius rocks. I think sirius always has better music playing then my xm in the car.

 

What are you getting?

 

Should be a 330i. Not sure until I actually pick it up.
