What is the watt of TL stock subwoofer?
Hello?
I am just curious that how much watt the subwoofer is.
Eventually I will buy a subwoofer, because it is not doing the right thing for me.
If it passes its limit, then it starts to make stupid plastic noise(I will talk to Acura dealer to tight it).
Other than that, I found the speakers are pretty okay.
I know that the subwoofer is 8".
Would it be possible for me to replace the factory subwoofer to other after market brand one to the same place? Just curious.
(I'm a super newbie in modifying sounds, so I used "SEARCH", but it is pretty complex haha)

A J35A8 EG civic is in
Idk how many watts it is, but it def does sound like crap! There are many people that replaced the stock sub with a JL audio sub and they say it sounds good. Then again you can do what I did and put 2 12" Audiobahns with a Rockford Amp

Check out this thread: ELS stock speaker specs - size/imped/depth. I believe it is 40 Watts.
