what size subwoofer?

trying to decide what size sub to put in my trunk in my tl. thinking about two 10's , or one 12. heck maybe even two 12's. im afraid if i put in two 12's though the ass end of the car will sag. if weight werent an issue at all id get two 12's. any recommendations you guys can give me would be appreciated.

Don't get two 12's. The performance loss in the end doesnt justify the sound.

The size of the sub you choose is completely your preference. I would get a hard a hard hitting 10, simply because more trunk space FTW. Alternatively you can find a 12 that wont hit as hard, and even 10s that wont hit as hard.

Consider trunk space and overall weight, and then make your choice

JL Audio 10w6, or a 10w7.

i used to have a memphis 15 inch sub. do you think a w6 or w7 would even compare to my old sub? im sure it would be punchier, but would it go as low?

It won't go as low as a 15". But, I say if you're going with just 1 sub, you should go with one 12". But, if you really want to maximize trunk space, go with the w6, and get the uncald4 sub enclosure. That's the setup I'm running.
