What Brand Line Output Conveter (LOC) to use for Aftermarket Sub Amp

04 TL Base Model Non-Navi...I have a 2 channel Jensen 1050 sub amp powering a Memphis 12" sub. The amp is fairly basic and requires rca inputs for its signal.

I'm considering purchasing this LOC and splicing into the factory sub wire location in the trunk:

PAC SNI-35 Adjustable 2-Channel Line Out Converter:
Amazon Amazon

Just curious if this is ideal for what I need for my setup or if I should run a different LOC.
Thanks...

From what I've seen the David Navone LOC's are pretty well made.

Audiocontrol also makes some good LOC's.

You all need to do a little more research! I would avoid the audiocontrol products. LCQ1 is definitely not required to add only a sub in the method described above. Any decent LOC will yield decent results. Bit 10 if you need a processor would be my choice.

Wow that looks pretty good. The eq bands seem plenty for a system that is put together decently (like the TL). The price is a bit steep for my liking but I am looking forward to your review. I am sticking with stock until I can be fairly certain that I can get the sound I want when I do throw a bunch of money at upgrades.

just one point about that unit. I do not see ability to control crossover. For my purposes a hpf would be good or at least a lower octave eq band for the fronts and rears. Other than that... still pricey.

[RANT] It is now 2012, retail stores should be giving these away to encourage people to buy their expensive amps and things. [/RANT]

Nice, but that is overkill. I'm just looking for suggestions to run an aftermarket sub. I'm keeping the stock TL amp to power all the interior speakers.

Would you consider the above LOC I listed to be "decent"? For that price its worth a shot, I'm ready to order it.

^ I dont have any personal experience with that LOC, but I think you will be fine for the sub signal.
