I think the TL stock system sounds awesome, just curious what do you guys set your system for bass, treble, center, subwoofer etc.. ?

I put the treble up several slots (from middle) and bass 1 tick below treble. I keep sub just a couple of ticks above middle. Positional stuff is centered left right and very slightly towards the front (1 or 2 ticks)

Check out this thread about Optimal Settings and this one about Improving ELS System. Here's another one Audio Sound Settings.

Treble up two clicks from center, bass up one click. Subwoofer up full minus one tick. I chose these settings based on most of the source I've listening to is a bit weak on the bass and that I spend most of my commute at freeway speed. When parked, this sounds pretty crappy.

IMHO - The link to Improving ELS System is the most important one if you're looking for great sound.

Before reading the original post, I kept everything flat (at 0), balance/fader centered. I bumped the center channel to +5 once, just to make sure there was actually a speaker under that grille, but once I found out there was a speaker down there, back to 0 it went.

I completely agreed that the TL's audio system sounds great for a stock system, but it was a bit muddy in the midrange and bass...... Even the great Mark Levinson system found in Lexus cars needs a bit of help when it comes to muddy midrange, but i digress....

After reading the original post, I tried the -2 Bass/-2 Sub settings and it made a huge improvement to my ears. Vocals sounded smoother and the bass was no longer overwhelming. I tried going back to 0 Bass/0 Sub settings, but now it just sounds garbage

We all hear things differently, so to each his/her own.... Just my
