Hello Memberz,
I have been searching for awhile but with no luck (both online and local stereo shops). Where can someone purchase a "dash kit" that will allow me to leave the current screen for hvac controls and replace the tape deck with a double din deck like the alpine w505. I see some people have made thier own, but I do not have the skills. Please help me find something. If its in Canada, then even better.

I would have to suggest to have the local stereo shop make you one. I believe they used the factory radio bracke to hold the radio. Trimed the double din trim that came with my kenwood and recovered my side pieces to avoid painting it. I'm glad they went simple and saved my money. see the install pic. Just send me a message if you want their info, they are very nice.

yeah pretty much and I'm not a dude. I think I read about every post before having this install done. If i knew it was this easy I would have done it a long time ago. Now I have a JL cleansweep, ipod adapter and 8" JL Sub to sell. It was cheaper just to get it done.
