VX8700 Phone in TL

Has anyone successfully linked a Verizon VX8700 phone in a TL?

The phone is not listed in Acura's site listing compatible phones.

The phone is listed on a Verizon site listing phones that will work with the TL.

Please search before posting. Apparently it works: Lg Vx-8700. I found the thread with a keyword search of *8700.

Thank you for the reply.

BTW I did search but did not use vx-8700 or 8700. I used VX8700 which the way the phone model is listed by Verizon.

The asterisk * takes care of all three cases.

did yuo try uploading the phone book, how does that work for you? I am also with Verizon and shopping for a new phone. Really into LG brand because no other phone lasted me more than a year like my current LG 6100, 2yrs and going strong

I did purchase a VX8700 phone and had no problems setting up with my TL. Same capabilities as I had with the E815.

I did not upload the phonebook from my 8700 to the TL. I do not believe this is possible.

Vx8700

2007 TL also paired with the VX8700 and the Razor Maxx Ve. Neither did phone book but both had same capabilities as E815. Transfer from TL to phone and back. Bluetooth paired in seconds and works every time.

Please continue the discussion in the thread linked in post #2. No point in having the same question (above) posted and answered in both threads.

Thank you.
