Voice Greetings...Is it Possible

So I've enjoyed all the cool things this forum and the users have shared over the years and I realize that the personalities of everyone who owns a TL is pretty much the same. Admit it or not, you all like "Knight Rider" or at least KITT. I know I did and still do and in some awkward way, that's why I was attracted to this car from the get go and bought it with no hesitation. Sure I did my research and yes I know "enough" about cars to stump a few of you, but the gadgets and style is what sold us all on this car....

I'm drifting....So here's my question. I look at the Navi picture (one that I have adjusted to my liking thanx to y'all) when I start the car and realize that it would be "tight" if I could have the car say something to me upon startup. So I pose this challenge to anyone out there...."Is there a way to have a voice greeting when starting the car that responds similar to the HF Voice???"

I'm looking for a simple solution, using the existing system or a minor tweak, nothing too complicated. No mounting a speaker under the seat connected to some dual voice converter box only available from a mom & pop shop that makes candles or some crazy crap like that. I don't believe that the voices through the vehicle can be altered via the DVD/PCMA slot and adjustment of bin files, but I ain't no expert so I'm not gonna shoot myself in the foot....BUT I thought I'd throw it out there. I'm still surprised no one came up with a way for the voice prompt to sound like Salma Hayek & speak Spanish/French/Mandarin....my 2 cents...Can it be done????

I don't know either way, but I would definitely like this for my Type-S.

it could be, but we would need a programmer to do it, add the voice to the bin and have the software trigger it upon the acura logo screen coming on. you could change the existing nav voices if you wanted to, such as Make a U turn if possible to missed the turn bish.

It's software. Any function you want is available with enough Time and Money.
