Voice command for CD tracks????
So I was in gf 08 and she said try to change cd track with voice command. I tried like twenty times to get a track to change i could get any track between 1-29 easily but I never could get any track above 29. I know I don't have perfect pronunciation but i normally can hit any command with out an issue.
I also tried many variations such as play mp3 , play track, dvd track, ect ect
I have never tried to change tracks in the 06 so I am not sure if it has the same issue but i plan on trying next time im in it.
anyway is there something im missing or does the tl really just not understand my southern draw....?

CD Voice Commands
The system accepts these commands on a map/guidance screen. A/C screen, and audio screens.
CD play
CD play disc # (#: 1-6)
CD play track # (#: 1-30)
CD play disc #A track #B (A: 1-6 B: 1-30)
CD skip forward
CD skip back
CD play next disc
CD play previous disc
CD track random
CD track repeat
CD disc repeat
CD normal play
It looks like the CD PLAY TRACK may only go up to 30.

Lol that sucks if im at track 33 and want to go to 145. I had no idea it would only go to 30. I have never looked at the commands much since I normally get what I want by guess ing
Thanks

Keep Right Except to Pass
FWIW, it might help to pronounce each digit separately the way air traffic control does. When the DC-area traffic reports on XM were on Channel 214, I found that I got better results saying "XM channel two one four" than I did if I said "XM channel two fourteen" because the system sometimes confused "fourteen" with "forty" and tuned to the wrong channel.
