The MDX Voice system allows entry of City, and Stree - it allows entire address to be entered by voice command.

Is this functionality available for the TL? I have an 05 TL...does not appear that the newest DVD adds these features.

 

no....these features are not available on the 04,05,06 TL...and it does not seem like it will be available.....the 06 TL is the last Acura Production Model to have the 3G Navi....all new remakes will have the new 4G navigation

 

I thought that the current 3.x Navi version would stay on the TL models until the 2009 fourth generation TL model arrives with the (we hope) latest Navi version generation. We all know that Honda/Acura are very secretive about features that will be in 2007 models.

 

Nobody knows what will happen. Some says it may get a freshening up, but I think that is just people guessing.

 

On these upgrades will the 04 dvd navi unit be able to upgrade these functions thru a revised disk or will the dvd rom unit have to be upgraded to the newer unit?

 

the TSX had a refresh....as will the TL...i can't see Honda/Acura not letting this car be refreshed...its due for one....and along with it most likely there will be a new navi....a redesigned front end......Aux Input....and a few other things...possibly a wheel design change....
