So there are times I'm listening to music and sometimes my phone shows missed calls and never turned off my music to notify me, and then other times it worked fine. I discovered that any contacts on my V710's phonebook with certain ringer ID sounds, the TL would not detect incoming calls. For example, if you set one of your contacts to "Drum" for Ringer ID.. the incoming call will never be detected by the TL.

I just went through all my contacts and set RingerID to none. So I'll be looking to see if another "Missed Call" comes through without me being aware of it.

Is this a known bug? Do other people have this problem?

Also some of you are saying a patch is available? I just went to my verizon store and they said no patch is available nor do they have the connectors to upload any patch anyways if one was even available.. and they gave me no ETA when it will be available. I noticed the V710 was "Out of stock" there and has been all the time they say. Makes me glad to know I have had mine since July

 

It does not recognize certain ringers. I solved it on mine by taking a cordless phone down to the garage and calling the cell phone with different ringers until it worked.

 

can you tell us which ringer worked and which ringer didnt?

 

"none" is the one that works all the time

 

how do you set it to none?
