Using Moto Razor V3 with HFL

I have paired the my Moto V3 with the TL HFL. But every time getting into the car I have to turn the bluetooth power of Razor on so that the HFL can find it.

Once I switch the ignition off, the connection is lost, and the bluetooth power of Razor is turned off automatically. I have to go through the menu to turn it back on again.

is there a way to keep the bluetooth power always on?

I don't have that problem.

There are 2 ways to turn on Bluetooth on the V3. The first is temporary: the menu options are Connection / Bluetooth Link / Handsfree. When using this menu option, you'll note the prompt "Temporarily Power On". The second is Connection / Bluetooth Link / Setup / Power / Change (to turn it on). My experience is that the second option stays until you turn it off, but the battery consumption increases dramatically when Bluetooth is on all the time.
If you were already aware of the 2 options, my apologies. It wasn't my intent to be insulting, and I'd rather error to the side of being helpful if you weren't aware.

When I use the temporary option, Bluetooth isn't dropped immediately upon turning the car off - it takes a while, though I haven't timed it. I have noticed on a short stop in this scenario, Bluetooth is still on and pared when I return to my car.

Thank you socalshyguy. I wasn't aware there are two options. I agree the bluetooth antenna will remain on for a while after offing the car.

Socal hit it on the head. My razr works well with my HFL.

On another note, I turned on my razr this morning, and the screen was white. Then the oto skin that came with the phone wouldn't stay fixed, but rather would move from left to right? It finally corrected to the normal screen when I hit the red end call button. When I picked up the phone later , it was doing the same thing.

Anyone have this happen to them? Suggestions?

I have Cingular with flex version GSMV3xxCIN01Na04E.

Thanks in advance.

Nope. Signal strength only.
