hey i have an 06 acura tl non-nav, i just notice that in the arm rest cabnets where the power socket is a little up more theres like a lil cap..it looks like a usb port.. i honestly dont know what it is but it deff looks like it. anyone might know what this might be? thanks

 

its for the auxillary not a usb port

 

yep. A miniplug port. You plug your mp3 player into it.

 

I think the aux port arrived in '07. Is the "cap" white?

 

yes the cap is white..but it doesnt come off..like if i pull it off the whole lil unit pops out. would i be able to listen to music through this connecting my mp3? and why isnt it in the car manual?

Yup, no usb or aux in that year, it's a light bulb.

 

 

Funny! I had an '05 before my '07 and I also thought that white cap covered a USB port.
