here is my problem.....
(again sory for my poor english)
im from montreal canada,
got a 05 tl ,i wanted to istall isimple....i needed a radio with the xm fonction to plug it in
so i bought one from a scrap yard around my place for cheap

as you probably guess they did not have the radio code

so i called my dealer who said that it would cost around 50 to get it
as an auto tech at gm i know it's a mater of calling at acura service to get it and i think that 50$ is a bit expencive,

so i did a reserch in here
and found the us acura number that is 800 382-2238
so i called there,got to speek to the guy that could give that code but i needed an us vin number to procede
i called canada service and they told me to go to the dealer

so....here's what i am asking you guy's....
would somebody be kind enough to call that number pick the option 5 and give them my radio serial that is 11130125 and retrive the code for me?

from what year TL did you get the radio with XM? Was it a US car or Canadian? I want to get an ipod connection too but it's not working out so well because i don't have the XM button, just CD/DVD

so 04-06 with XM button, or did you get a newer 07-08 radio with XM?
And was it a direct plug and play?
