Irecently put one of these in my 06 TL and aside for the occasional skipping it's a decent setup. My question is if these is any way to pause the ipod using the stereo controls. When call comes in it would be much easier to hit a button on the stereo to pause vs searching for the ipod pause. i know its pretty simple to pause a cd in the dash changer but is there and way to do this when the stereo is in CDC mode and if so will this pause the ipod.

By there way was there ever a fix that came out to take care of the skipping on this unit. I search for quite a while but became overwelmed with the complants. Thanks

 

There is no way (that I know of) to pause the iPod through the vehicles stereo or steering wheel controls. For me, it's not a big deal because I use an iTouch that sits on the cup holder cover and I can easily see the pause icon on the face. However, I can understand if this is an inconvenience.

Regarding the skipping - I have the same issue; on average about once a day. If you find a solution, let me know, because I certainly haven't found one yet.
