USA-Spec PA15-HON3 with iPod bluetooth adapter

Ok, so I just installed the USAspec PA15HON3 into my 06 TL non-navi. I do not have an ipod and do not plan on buying one. What My original plan was with this is to just use the aux port of the usaspec. Then I came across this http://www.ebay.com/itm/190603075445...#ht_4346wt_848. It is a bluetooth adapter that plugs into the ipod port and I was hoping that I could stream my blackberry to it through this adapter. So I got it and tried it and I can get it to pair ok when hooked up to the usaspec but I have to turn the volume up all the way and then I can just barely hear it. So, my question is, has anyone else tried this set up with a non ipod phone or bluetooth mp3 device. Is it possible to make a non ipod device work with the usa spec other than the aux port or is it specifically looking for an ipod. The aux port works fine. I know the bluetooth adapter is compatatible with my phone because i have tried it with another audio source and it works great, I just cant get it to work with the usaspec.

Are you sure the Bluetooth volume on your phone was turned up? Try it again and hit the ringer toggle on the side to see if that helps.

Hopefully something that simple.

Check your volumes. You on Android? Menu>settings>sound>volume And check all your volume settings. Android phones have many separate volume channels.

I dont think it is a volume issue. Im using a blackberry and once it is connected to a bluetooth device that bluetooh device takes over the volume controls. Im looking for feedback from anyone that has tried this setup that has been able to get it to work. Im not really looking to see playlists on the radio, Just want to be able to use steering wheel controls so I can play/pause and skip

I have the same problem. The simple problem is that the Bluetooth adapter isn't activating the usaspec unit. I guess it isn't drawing enough power to switch over to the iPod interface.
