The Adobinizer 2.0 to 5.1 Converter has been out for a few years but thanks to member Grinch80 there is an updated version. Grinch80 spent his own time re-writing many of the program calls to be compatible with the latest version of SoX. SoX is the great open source application that is the back-bone of the Adobinizer. He also went through and adjusted gains on a few channels to make sure that no channels will be clipped. Lot's of work on his part and I for one really appreciate it.

I hadn't used the Adobinizer in some time but Grinch80's update caused me to run some tunes through it again. Sounds great.

The GUI is for making 2 channel DVD-A. I have not updated that and don't currently have any plans to at this time.

The Adobinizer is different. It converts 2 channel to simulated 5.1 channel. You need a tool like Cirlinca DVD Audio Solo to make the DVD from the 5.1 channel files.
