Type S mood lighting
I am a new TL owner and I have noticed a lot of talk about the red mood light inside the TL. I have a 07 TL-S and the only lights i see are the dome and door lights. Am i missing the "mood" lights. Thanks

When its dark out get in your car start it and look at your feet... Like LoveMyTL-S stated there are also two lights from the overhead console in addition to the 2 in the foot well area.

nope nothing lighting up my feet. The only lights are the map/reading light up top, the two in the rear and the door lights and they are all white. I really do not like red and I was going to do a blue LED conversion but I want the full effect. Where are the two floor bulbs located?
Thanks again
And wow I thought my bike was an expesive hobby, looking at all the things I can do to the TL its gonna suck my wallet dry worse than my bike did.
I CANT WAIT!!!

Ok Im slow... I parked in the garage and saw the "mood" lights. AHHH they are red. I have a strong dislike of the color red. I need them to be blue or nothing at all. Before I ask; I will do a search on how to replace them.

Yeah i found them. It looks like the ones by the map light and the ones in the floor shining on my feet. I really want to change them out to blue but between work and the wife my time has been limited, maybe this weekend will allow me more time. At first glance the ones over head looked like surface mount LED's, thats gonna be a son of a gun to change.

The footwell lights are easy to get to. Just pull down the under dash covers. Twist the connector and they are out. Not sure on the bulbs sizes. The one's on the roof console will require a bit more work but I think those shouldn't be too difficult either. This may help:

Guys, there are two lights in the footwells-one under the drivers side and one under the passengers side. Puma, I'm sorry you don't like red. All the Base TL's are in blue.
Here's what I did-I installed 8 inch LED's under all four footwells-they look AWESOME. Plus, with the lighted red door sills-you can't beat it.
Here you can see the footwell LED's and the lighted sills....

Here, you can see the red lights in the doors too (to match the red interior):

Here, you can see the LED strip:

Here's a good shot with the Dead Pedal and the Type S logo and the red footwell lighting.

Puma, you can replace the footwell lights with blue, but the red lights is a Type s thing!
